Vacation Deprivation

Vacation Deprivation: lack of adequate vacation time from place of employment; a respite from employment not lasting more than 14 days or 2 weeks consecutively

Between school and work, my Jaded level has reached almost maximum level. I am in so need of a vacation. I haven't had one since winter break. I believe that one is coming the near future possible in the next two weeks. The problem with the majority of my vacations is that they sometimes end up at home and being home from work is not what I consider to be a "real" vacation.

A "real" vacation would consist of places like: Atlantic Beach, North Carolina; Boston, MA; San Antonio, TX; the Rocky Mountains; The Grand Canyon( is it possible to jump the Grant Canyon? Maybe I could test that theory?) ; and Opryland Hotel in Tennessee( it's a freakin hotel in a glass dome, tell me that's not nice) But of course, "real" vacations require monetary resources and not to mention time.

Speaking of time, I really envy Europeans, they have about an average of 42 days off from work, while the average American only gets 2 weeks which is that's debateable. I know some people who have gotten terminated because they asked for time off. Now, that's bogus.

How ever long it is and where ever it is, I will try to have a good time and not stress about returning back to work.

Ah,now you see why I want to move to Germany(and not just because of Ben, I know you're thinking that).
Vacation deprivation when it comes to me doesn't even begin to describe it.
How do you vacation from your family?
Always Yours,
