Today, it's another Monday afternoon and I guess where I am. I will give you a Hint. Starts with a W and ends with a K. You guessed it. It's called Work. I can't complain though, but unlike the millions and millions of people out there, I have a job. While I'm working, I'm still reeling from my now deceased love life. Sure the feelings are still there on both sides, but it's not in writing that we exist as a item or couple entity. Oh well, everyone says that I will be okay after sometime, but it's like it will take forever for me to fully recover. At least I regained my appetite. To cheer me up, one of my friends, Stephie, brought me a brownie. She read my mind. It was something to put in my almost famished tummy and it also contained the necesary neurotransmitters, namely endorphin and serotonin, to help me feel some euphoria and lift me out of this mild depression. Thank you Stephie. You are the greatest.
This weekend my friends really came through to cheer me up. Talk about your friend support. They are the greatest.
Whatever I do I just can't help thinking about Her. The times we spent together, the moments we shared, the times we laughed and just stared at each other, etc. I missed all of that. :( I know she needs time, but it's not exactly easy. (Sigh)
I have decided to dedicate a poem to her. I know she doesn't read my blog any, but I want Her to know that she's is the most beautiful girl in the world and I will always be there for Her whether as a friend or something more:
"She Walks In Beauty"
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade more, one ray less
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress
Or softly lightens o'er her face
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.
And on that cheek, and o'er that brow
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!
George Gordon, Lord Byron (1788-1824)
Since I don't really consider myself much of a poet or something even close to it, I would rather just dedicate the classics to Her. It might find one by Shakespeare to dedicated to Her in my subsequential blog entries. If you ever feel down and out because of romance issues, a good brownie can always make a little difference. I prefer mine without walnuts, soft, chewy and warm.
