I have lost the ability to write. Someone help me!!!!!
I can't live like this. I need something to help me. I need some Writer's Viagrara or something. Anyone got any free samples?
Ok, but seriously....
This past Monday, I had the unpleasant opportunity to go to Traffic Court. I was in for "Reckless Operations", which translated to speeding( 39 in a 25 zone), no seatbelt, and no glasses. I also stumbled upon an old classmate who was in for driving a car with blue lights. She says that she was just borrowing the car, since her car was in the shop. Anyway, her fine was 255, while my fine was 155!!!!!!
Can you believe that? $155 for a stupid speeding ticket??? It's not like I committed involuntary manslaughter with a motor vehicle!!! Geez!! Give a guy a break.
As I stood there in front of the judge, I was hoping that she would see my pitiful and regretful face. Then she asked me what I would plead, I relunctantly said, "Guilty!" Then she read the fine amount and the due date to pay it. My wallet seemed to scream in pain.
After years of bragging rights of have no speeding tickets among my friendship syndicate, I've finally been humbled by the Law. I will never speed again in my entire life. Well, let's be serious, I can't promise myself that. Let me revise: I will only speed in extenuating circumstances that might involve work, some forms of recreation, going out, emergencies, etc. I have realized that there is no need to speed to get to work on time, because I'm going to be late anyway.
I've learned my lesson.
My only source of satisfaction this evening is that Lost will have a new episode. Whoppie!

Aw, poor Kevis.
I'm sorry that you have to pay a fine.
My friend Simone (you know, the one that teases me about liking Emmanuel) has about 750 bucks in traffic tickets.
She almost ran out of the courtroom and drove off with her sister.
Of course, her sister also being a JW (Simone isn't baptized yet, but she will be soon) didn't drive off and paid about half of the fine.
Well, anyway...
I would be HAPPY to get you some Writer's Viagra. I'll go and look up some on Google now.
LOL
Always Yours,
Diane
